As we gear up for the next exciting phase of the nonpartisan Vote for Your Daughter campaign, a project of People For the American Way, we invite artists from all corners of our great nation to lend their creative voices to this powerful movement.

We are looking for one artist in each state to participate in an exhibition that will travel the nation in 2024. Artists will bring life to a 3D statue of a young girl—a symbol of hope, empowerment, and the boundless potential of our daughters.

Through your artistry, we can inspire communities far and wide and ignite a spark of change.

DETAILS:

SELECTED ARTISTS WILL RECEIVE:

Mannequin to use as a base figure - there will be 9 variations to choose from, each with different heights and body poses
Detailed artist handbook with guidelines and best practices for working with materials.
$1,000 for any additional materials - paint, brushes, etc.
$2,000 stipend for time

IMPORTANT DATES:

APPLICATIONS OPEN // October 15 - December 1, 2023
WORKING PERIOD // January 15 - February 15, 2024
EXHIBIT TRAVELS // March 1 - November 7, 2024

ARTISTS WILL ALSO GET:

Artist profile webpage on the VFYD website
Name on the statue you create along with a QR code that links to your profile on the VFYD website
