MAGGIE O'NEILL | FOUNDER
Maggie O’Neill is a Washington, DC–based artist, activist, designer, community builder, and creative entrepreneur whose career has spanned more than two decades across art, interiors, cultural programming, public-facing experiences, and civic engagement.
Her work has consistently focused on how art and design can shape the way people experience a place, a conversation, or an idea. Over the course of her career, she has built a reputation for creating bold, highly visible work that brings people together and gives difficult or overlooked issues a physical presence in public life.
In 2022, Maggie founded Vote For Your Daughter with an installation of 51 figures at the U.S. Capitol and Supreme Court, turning a provocative public artwork into the beginning of a broader national movement. Since then, she has led VFYD’s creative vision and public voice as the organization has expanded into campaigns, partnerships, cultural programming, and community-based civic action across multiple cities.
At the center of Maggie’s work is a belief that culture can open people up before politics shuts them down—and that art can be a powerful entry point into conversations about the future we are building for women and girls.
SALLY MCBRATNEY | CO-FOUNDER
Sally McBratney is a Washington, DC–based artist, creative strategist, and organization builder whose work spans brand, public experience, cultural programming, partnerships, and community engagement. Her career has centered on turning ambitious ideas into tangible platforms, identities, and experiences that people can understand, connect with, and participate in.
As Co-Founder of Vote For Your Daughter, Sally helps shape the movement’s creative direction, strategy, partnerships, campaigns, and public-facing experiences. Her work at VFYD is grounded in the belief that strong ideas become more powerful when they are made accessible, visible, and communal—and that thoughtful creative direction can help turn shared values into meaningful participation.
