We’re proud to have been a featured exhibit at Umbrella Art Fair 2024, which showcased the work of over 100 artists. Our special exhibit took visitors on a journey through Vote For Your Daughter’s evolution—from our beginnings in November 2022 to the powerful movement we’ve become today.
At the heart of our exhibit stood the very first collection of “Forever Fearless” statues, each a testament to resilience and activism. We were thrilled to debut this inaugural collection, created by an incredible group of artists: Roxanne Christie, Dominique Fierro, Brandon Hill, Kate Campagna, and Maggie O'Neill.
Saturday’s Art + Activism panel, moderated by our founder, Maggie O’Neill, was another highlight. Panelists Julie Kolter (Psychotherapist, Art Therapist, and Activist), Neha Misra (Migratory Eco-Artist, Poet, and Climate Justice Advocate), and Michele Pred (Swedish-American Artist and Activist) brought their unique perspectives to a powerful conversation about the intersection of creativity, advocacy, and healing. The session inspired attendees to think boldly about how art can drive meaningful change.
After the panel, attendees joined us for community art-making, creating a space for connection, healing, and expression. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of collective action through creativity. As attendees left the exhibit, they were encouraged to write their wishes for their daughters on our community sticky note wall. The messages were all heart warming as everyone pictures a world where their daughters thrive.
The weekend celebrated both our history and our future, engaging thousands of attendees and sparking conversations about equality in healthcare, education, pay, and representation.
We’re so grateful to the artists, advocates, and supporters who have joined us on this journey. Umbrella Art Fair 2024 was more than a showcase—it was a milestone in our mission to empower women and girls everywhere.
